CPR and First Aid in Schools – Legislation Bill CS/HB 157 signed by Ron Desantis. To read the law in full, click HERE.

The bill requires school districts to provide basic training in first aid, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) instruction, for public school students in grades 9 and 11.

The bill provides that the CPR training must be based on a one hour nationally recognized program that uses the most current evidence-based emergency cardiovascular care guidelines.

Florida CPR Training for high school graduation began July 1, 2021.

We offer the CPR/First Aid classes that are now required for high school students to graduate. For more information on how students can receive the classes for FREE, please contact Rick Landes by clicking HERE.
